Common Council Meeting January 21st, 2026
5 matches Yes, thanks for coming. I, I realize there's a big problem with lead paint, especially on window sills, right, where kids could chew or pick up loose pieces. Do you think there's where most of the lead problem is? I kind of agree with the law, but like Marcus said, I wouldn't be out there looking for trucks. I'd be waiting for complaints. I mean, if there's somebody's been parking their truck in their driveway for years and none of the neighbors have a problem with it. I wouldn't go out there and like stir something up. I would wait till you got a complaint and then— but to have the law so you can enforce it when you have to, I think it's a great idea. I don't have a problem. So there's where probably your main problem is. You think, is it the water too, or— Yes, lead poisoning has been a problem from way, way back, and I hope we all get together and do something to get the ball rolling. Also, with the temperatures this weekend, the police, the firemen, and the DPW, stay warm, stay safe. It's going to be a tough weekend.
