All right, we either got to pick which one we're going to do. Well, when come budget time, when the— these are actually budget lines. So when we actually get into the budget, we have to decide if we want to keep it at 4% or increase it to 6%. I think There's a, uh, there's a program that we're involved with. It's a 4-year program which, uh, we had agreed on, uh, to increase our budget 4% on that for, I think, for 4 years to pay for some sewer maintenance that had been done in the city. Now I think when we're talking with the engineers, this is a portion that we'll discuss with the engineer department, and he could more— he could explain it a little more in depth during budget time.

Then we're good with this, right? Any issues on this? Should I bring it around? All right, next one is, uh, ordinance amending Section 2-26-48 regarding sewer rentals. Now this is the next two pages on two and number three and number four. This is actually going to be part of the budget discussion. Uh, these amounts are going to be in the budget, so I recommend we we put this in committee because it's going to be discussed, uh, during our budget time, uh, when we decide what we actually want the sewer rates to be. Any issues on this?

go ahead. Well, I can just say, I can speak to as to why you're getting it now. Typically this was done up until the last couple years where it kind of fell through the cracks. Typically they were submitted at the same time. When you got the budget, you got legislation to correspond for the sewer rents. It got sent down now so you have it ahead of time and you guys can make your decisions come budget season and not forget that you have to change the rates in accordance with the budget.

Thank you, Mr. President. Um, just a couple, couple things as we, we approach, um, the month of February and March here. We received our audit, uh, copies our here recently as a council and members of the public listening. We of course have our budget meetings coming up later this month, and I think February and March are certainly our busiest as far as the finances of the, the city go. So I encourage members of the public to continue to attend, continue to stream YouTube, and continue to reach out to the council members with any questions you have as we make our way through the budget so we can incorporate that into our, into our questions.
