And can I just say one thing? And I'm sorry, before you go around this, as far as the truck goes, people's business, we're not trying to hurt that. What, what I'm more against is a place on Lorraine Ave that, you know, we've had a problem where a guy's got a school bus that's been there for 6 months that he's redoing it. Okay, huh? On the dead end, that type of stuff. We know that codes guy, if somebody's off the road coming over the road and is there a night, even 2 nights, codes guy is— isn't— most of the time the neighbors aren't calling. It's for the other stuff that happens daily. I mean, it's— there's a lot of stuff that— you know what, I have a very nice district. And I'm proud of it, and I'm proud to represent my people. And people who take care of their properties shouldn't have to go through this and, and see this— a guy that is, uh, you know, a contractor and has 3 or 4 trucks there and is parked on the grass. That's, that's what we're at. Obviously, we don't want to hurt anybody's business and, you know, hurt anybody, but I'm just telling you, it's an issue. And all— every one of you guys and I'm sure of it, has got calls about this in our district.

I kind of agree with the law, but like Marcus said, I wouldn't be out there looking for trucks. I'd be waiting for complaints. I mean, if there's somebody's been parking their truck in their driveway for years and none of the neighbors have a problem with it. I wouldn't go out there and like stir something up. I would wait till you got a complaint and then— but to have the law so you can enforce it when you have to, I think it's a great idea.

Yes. Um, so this is kind of the same type, um, esthetics. Thank you. Just a different type deal. So same type. Uh, I know Councilman Betar has same problem. We've talked about it. This is basically for people who just fill their front yards with— I don't want to say garbage or debris. I'll give you an example. People have garage sale and they have a ton of stuff, and the stuff doesn't go away, and they just move it to their front yard. And it's, you know, I don't want to use the word garbage or trash, but it's just a nuisance to the neighbors who keep their properties in good order. And when we send codes there, I mean, I could send you— if we, uh, you know, if we do have to have a committee meeting, I will bring you pictures in. But, um, it's just, it's just something that it's very uncomfortable to the people who live around that, that have to see that. All the time. And again, I'll let Marques speak on that. And listen, the reason of these two pieces of ordinance, the reason I have them is when I call codes and they agree with me 100% when they go and see the issues, but they tell me there's nothing in the law that they can do to help out. So that's why I've got with Marques and, um, came up with something.
