you know what I mean? And I mean, I'll just say, I mean, there are arborists. I mean, there are people who make determinations as to what trees are healthier and which not. You can hire an arborist, and you can bring actions much like you can for anything else to settle trees and disputes against private owners, I guess. And I don't want to go too far into the practical sense, and I don't think Marques did either, but you're talking, you know, manpower and ability, even if we're contracting to do it, be able spending those funds to do all of these things on top of taking on the additional liability, because I can almost guarantee if the arborist is making those decisions, even if we're contracting it out, the city is going to be assuming some liability to do that.

I understand that. So what I'm saying is that what the city is responsible for is the city's already done and they did tree inventory on. I understand that you're talking about somebody's backyard and stuff like that. And I personally, and you know my feelings on this, like I don't see how the city can go in, they can't even go in somebody's backyard for a codes issue if they have chickens or anything anything like that. So the point to this, and I understand what Joe's saying, and it is a big problem, and I don't know how the City of Rome does it. I thought maybe because it's a bigger city and they might have more land and it's easier to see something on somebody else's property. But I think that the inventory that we have is based on the tree inventory that we did as a city. We hired somebody to do. Anything outside of that scope, I think, is just too much for the city to handle and outside of their scope of—

If the back deck is unsafe, you're talking single-family home or rental, they're two different things. So if it's a single-family home, we usually send a notice to the homeowner, tell them that we think your back deck is unsafe. If you don't fix it, we'll bring you to court. If it's a rental property, there's people involved, we have to determine if not having access to that back deck makes their house unlivable. Because there are situations where you need two exits to get out of a house.
